Make tooltips appear faster

Hi,
How to make tooltips appear faster?
In Fleet ops they show rather fast but in STA2 Classic mod i need to hover my mouse for about 4-5 seconds before they appear. That's way too long. How to make them show faster (after 1-2 seconds or instantly when i hover over a ship/station)?

I changed tooltipdelay = 1.0 to 0.0 and it didn't work.
Adding verbosetooltipdelay = 1.0001 (as in STA2FO) did the job.
That's weird because my tooltips file has two types of tooltips for every ship/station, for example: my_ship and my_ship_V. I guess tooltipdelay should influence how fast my_ship tooltip appears and verbosetooltipdelay should influence my_ship_V. However tooltipdelay seemed to influece nothing and verbosetooltipdelay infleunced both tooltips (my_ship and my_ship_V).

It's weird but it doesn't matter. Thank you very much for you help
