Normally torpedoes look like this:

But I want them to always look like totally zoomed in.

What do i have to do? Is there any value in the specific torpedo ordnance? Or in the ART_CFG.h?
Need some advice please

I don't believe those torpedoes use LODs at all :) fedW_volley2.SOD is the file, and there are no LODs listed for it near as I can tell

Thx for your answer!
The effect starts disappearing the further you zoom out, so there must be "sth"...

No problem :)

I think the effects seem to be disappearing more due to the pixels or quality of your screen - I blew up both images, and I definitely can see the trails and things like that  :sweatdrop:

the distance fadeouts are done with the texture lods. try removing the texture lods of the flare texture

Ah, right, totally forgot about that  :pinch: ...and I even wrote a section on the guide about that a month back or so

Unfortunately there are no lod textures for torpedoes.
Changing the LOD values in ART_CFG.h does only affect textures but not the "glow" animation of the torpedo sod's.

they have lods, but its probably not affected by the art config, as - as far as i remember - we use the normal directX mipmap handling. You can identify "lods" for textures by their _1 _2 etc ending
