Okay! I need a dev to say it! Is the game rigged with a thing where new SPW don't work?
Because I was testing my Valiant's new Special weapon (attached in the thread's last post so far, it may change). This is the first time I equipped a SPW. I tried both the cannon and launcher codes and also the plasmatorp and photontorp codes. I tried all of those and none of them work! 
Please! Help! Is there a code i have to put in that enables it? Anything? I don't see any reason why it doesn't work! I got the research pod, I got the ordinance file! I got all of it and it breaks!
Anyone? Come on! I want to be sure no SPW of my Sona proj will be DENIED. Or for any other mods for that matter.... Someone tell me if this thing is rigged?

ehm.. do you honestly think we put in a code that prevents special weapons to be implemented o.O what purpose is that supposed to have?!
we dont put progamming effort into creating blockades, we put the efforts in breaking them down. So, if your special weapons don't work, its probably, cause you did something wrong or the odfs are invalid. i'm sure you may find some custom special wepaons in the moding subforums
some special weapons from vanilla armada 2 work different in Fleet Operations, so be sure to look at the Fleet Operations odfs and find something that comes close to what you want to achieve, and then edit it to match your desires

all stuff that existed in armada 2 works the same as in fleet operations (considering that a few commands and object class names have been changed - see our odfs). i'd tried to not break any vanilla stuff or change it's behavior.
so don't give up, i guess you just have a typo somewhere. double-check your odfs
