I would like to know exactly how can I make a station require a certain race (other than the olayer's race). So that I could have additional stations require mix tech of certain races. I would like to know what defines what a station requires when it needs that of allies. So that I could make mixtech inspired turrets, mining facilities, and more.

requiredalliedrace = "borg"

Hope that helps.

I don't see anything like that in the mix yards. Optec, can you plan sometime in a future patch a code that we can clearly define if we need a exterior race? I mean, what makes these require another race? Is it the net of crossing bridges between races?

A:) One set of mixed-tech stations are used with the requiredalliedrace = "borg" command, these are denoted with the 'A' (Ally).  This station is placed on the construction ship of the opposing race, for example: 'fed_mixedtech_yard_borA.odf' is placed in the list for the Borg Constructor.  This is the mixed-tech station the Borg builds if they have Federation as their ally.
B:) The other set without the 'A' are used without the requiredalliedrace = "borg" command, and are placed on the owning races Construction Ship, for example: 'fed_mixedtech_yard_bor.odf' is placed in the list for the Federation Constructor.  This is the mixed tech station the Borg build using an assimilated Federation Construction Ship.

You can find more information about the constructors build-lists in one of my previous posts

Okay... I'm going to start mixing... though I have got the numbers for values, I would like to know exactly what are the symbols used to define mixed tech in tooltips?
