I tried doing a search and found some info however Im still in need of help.

How do I properly view the d_l_s.h file so it will show the symbols for the numbers and colored text?
I tried using Notepad2 using different scripting viewing options however it still omits lots of symbols.

So far I have tried notepad2, wordpad, notepad1, and a hex editor.

Also how do I properly edit the tootips? Do I just copy and paste the symbols posted in RCIX's small book of modding thread into the entry in the tootip entry?

Anyhelp would be greatly apreciated!

Oh and a 2nd question.

Is there anyway to make tootips pop up in a predefined area radther than over a object when you mouse over the object?

You have my thanks in advance for any help to my querys.

I use notepad. But you'll require a pre-constructed document with all the symbols. Which, by the way, WHEN IS THE UPDATED DYNAMIC STRING SYMBOL file going to be released? Because I want to mod but I can't due to a lack of knowing what symbol means what. :crybaby:

Since the stats didn't change for almost any unit, I'd suggest just cross referencing it. Use your Rosetta Stone mate ;)

... I tried a hex editor (I dunno what in the world made me think it'd help...). But at least I know one thing.... I really need to get a working editor! :crybaby:
