How to make models of ships?

Hi, I was wondering how you all make your models of ships/stations, like what program you use and any tutorial websites that are good. Also, any tips for making starships? Like how to form the nacelles, wings, saucer, etc.?

I was also wondering how texturing is done.

two main programs for model making for armada, armada 2 and fo are 3dmax5 (no newer version until the devs are kind enough to release there tools) and milksape 3d tutorials for these can be fond on armada2.filefrond.com

oooops yh filefront my bad lol but yh model making aint easy (well to get decent models its not)
