I can't figure out what in the world these tool tips are saying! All the Values are mostly spaces! What in the world defines these? The spaces? I can't even figure out how these work! Is it the amount of spaces? Can someone tell me before my head explodes?

Though one tiny little problem... in each version there should be a dynamic string guide with each release. That way I don't get burried in my own thoughts trying to find a way through this confusion.

try a different text editor, yours probably hides the special chars used for colored text. we changed the colored text chars to reanable many characters used in chat

.h files are opened as ANSI encoding in Notepad++ per default, make sure to switch to UTF-8

here is a table with the ASCII codes for red text:

CharASCII
0127
1129
2141
3143
4144
5157
6160
7173
8190
9215

How can I apply the ANSII code? Plus how can I properly read it? ???

I am stiill having problems reading and editing these tool tips. Can someone give me step-by-step directions or something? I used to edit tooltips in a breeze, but now even with Notepad++ working perfectly, I still don't know how to get it to open right. :(

Can someone tell me how to properly apply Optec's ASNII table? Or how to read it. I get the utf-8 part, but I still cannot get the part on the coding for the numbers and all that. I maybe a tech nerd, but I am stumped here. :on2long:

Your not alone gamer. I tried editing them..the most succes I have had is making the code tag itself visable for events such as warpin anouncements....to bad I wanted the text after the codetag to show and not the tag. I would personally ask for a "dumbed" down step by step tutorial using notepad++.

I now shall go hang my head in shame. :(

Okay.... I was able to switch to UTF-8. Though this is all I come to (see image). Is there a file that I have to apply a converter to? After all this is what I get. Though I did see a grammar problem (circled in blue). Though can you tell me which means which?

Try onpenig it in ANSI anstead of ASCII.  I think thats what he ment

No.... because whenever I open in ANSI, I get a lot of spaces and the occasional 3/4 fraction symbol. Which makes no sense at all. He says to open in UTF-8. And I did. Though my problem is how does the code table become applied?
