Is it true that hitchance is reduced when a ship is moving?

Armada 2 allows for you to set the modifier when modding, but it is not used in Fleet Operations.  Or more precisely, the value is 0. ^-^

Indeed - I think too that it does not work properly in Fleet Ops. I could of course be mistaken though  :sweatdrop:

However, if the projectile is moving slow enough, you can actually out manuver it.

I'm not sure if there are any slow moving torpedoes in the game but you could, in theory, out maneuver it if you move fast enough. ^-^

Well, the projectiles are supposed to be homing - and they travel at relativistic speeds supposedly, so they shouldn't be evaded at all except with really good ECM stuff :)

thats what the hitchance is for.  if it is going to hit, it will home, but even then, if you move fase enough, you can out manuver it.  You have see how my missiles work right?  they work the same way, they just happen to move a little slower, so you can out run them and they will dissipear, or just miss you completely.

what happens to the torp/missle after it was evaded? is there the posibility that it hits something else again?

it will just keep going and dissapear. It would be cool, though, if it could go after the next closest target :woot:

Hehe, you'd have to be moving at warp then  :D . Doesn't take any real computing power to figure out where a spaceship is gonna go - woot conservation of momentum  ^-^

That's how real life would work ^^ . Except of course all the issues with objects in space  :sweatdrop:
