Fleet Operations Menu-Style for stock game

The menu-style in Fleet Operations is very nice. With just a few modifications it is also useable for the Armada 2 stock game. I think this would be interesting for stock gamers refered to the fact, That the stock menu style is very ugly.

So, i would ask for permission to upload the moded Fleet Operations menu style for the stock game at armada 2 files.

I'd quite like to see this released, it sounds like a good idea for regular A2 modders

I don't know... I like the basic idea of the stock Armada II screen. It would look even better if someone could make an LCARS-like background and animations for it.

With some work (and probably a few headaches) you could probably get the stock style menu to look LCARS-style, like in Bridge Commander.

How about the old FO beta(and PR I think) screen.  I really liked the exploding galaxy class*winks at tyler*

I had been tempted to try and re use that screen too.


However, I do like the current FO screen.  It is pretty cool too.

To make it clear, I mean the menu style not the ingame GUI. I began to make an LCARS style Menu , but stoped it because the Fleet Ops style is more neutral (refered to that there are other races to play) But i also can release what i worked out since now. Actually its very easy to create new menu styles (in a technical sense), because there are just simple bitmaps images to edit with photoshop.

The adjusted menu style from Fleet Ops to Armada stock is already finished. Just waiting for a Fleet Ops staff member agreement.

hey, sorry about my very late reply here. i wasn't aware of this request and dominus recently brought it to my attention. i am fine with publishing your menu mod for armada 2
