Okay, say if I were to take the Future Wars mod for STA2 and rework it into FleetOps is there programs I would need to edit SODs and TGAs (textures) in order to insert it into the FleetOps engine?

I have the mod and it would be a simple copy and edit into the FleetOps structure. The only problem is the avatars. I'm not sure what I should do for those for each of the Future Wars factions.


Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.

No reason why you would need to. Any and all textures/sods should work without needing anything done to them.

Didn't the Future Wars crew disclosed any port or modification of their mod? I asked them once to allow me to port the mod to FO but they said they wouldn't allow any modification, re-release or port...

Yes thats true! I asked them once if I could use some of their ships for my personal FleetOps mod but I did not receive permission to do so.
