Apologies if this has been posted on somewhere else I'm new at this!
I was wondering how you might go about giving the Federation a Slipstream Gate/or a unit/station which could make a transwarp conduit?
I remember playing a mod for A1 where the Nebula class could open a transwarp conduit... something like that for a mini-mod would be fantastic! I love the idea of seeding a large map in 1v1 with small outposts connected by transwarp/slipstream conduits.
Thanks if you have any idea!! Or any suggestions/an existing mod. Great mod of course!
ps. Rather than just using the standard A2 transwarp gate which would look a bit odd in FleetOps.... was thinking of giving a ship the transwarp conduit power- would that work?

You can do so via the TransientRift ordnance, or the WormholeGenerator weapon. There is also the possibility of using the TranswarpDrive ordnance.

ah amazing thanks. So if I used the wormhole generator power is that essentially like the transwarp conduit from vanilla A2? ie it can be turned on and off?
And how do you code it in to a station, so ie. make the fed sensor station have the wormhole generator option?

Yup, these are all stock Armada II classes
. I'd take a look at the Borg super weapon for the latter example - should be quite self explanatory. Sensor classes can use the isTranswarpGate ODF command, which enables that functionality
