Im kinda new to modding, at least for the FO files.  Anyways i got the idea to switch the Federation Outpost's main weapons to phasers from pulse phaser, cause the federation uses more phasers than pulse phasers.  So i preformed the necessary change and i like it.

I used the phaser stats from the from the outpost's second weapons upgrade, but lowered the base damage some.  At first i thought i was going to be good enough but it a bit much in the firepower.

So i appreciate any comments or suggestions on this topic.

You could try reducing the number of Phasers from 3 to 2?

i could but i kinda like having three phasers, but with three phaser i would need to reduce the phaser damage by a good amount.

or, i could reduce the number to two phasers and have two pulse phasers after purchasing the first weapon upgrade.

You could, or start out with 2 and get a 3rd after the 1st upgrade.

what ever configuration i choice i will need to adjust the damage ratings for both the phasers and pulse phasers, and im wondering how those numbers were thought up whether through a formula or some other method.
