Damage flash texture question

Hey guys, so I have been working alot on my bsg mod lately, and after finally getting it imported to 3.1.5, I noticed a strange issue.  When the ships become damaged, they get that old white flash thing all over their hardpoints and it looks really bad since we already have impact explosions for the weapons.  I was wondering if anyone knows what texture controls this flash so that I can get rid of it. :D :blush:

Just had a look in Bridge, I think it's xspark01.tga.

At least, that looks the closest...

Thats what I thought, but covering that up did nothing.  I'll try again though. :whistling:  Any other thoughts?

Hmm...couple of thoughts:

Does it only appear on the new models you put in?

Try completely filling xspark01 with green (or red) and seeing if you get little boxes.

Did you clear the alpha channel as well?

Yeah, I think I got it.  It should be solid black, not just invisible.  I think the alphachannel was still showing through, as you suggested. :thumbsup:  Thanks for the help.  B)
