BSG music

Does anyone have any kind of unlicensed(free not illegal ) BSG music I can use for my bsg mod?  Was playing and it really seems bland being music-less.  A quality mic recording of the main theme would be ok if I can find nothing else

I have all the music for the first 3 seasons

I don't know if it is unlicensed though

Hmm...well the Dominion use the soundtrack of a Independance Day.  I think that's the soundtrack from it.  Maybe Doca knows the answer.

I doubt you'll find any original piece of soundtrack which is not licensed somehow. But there is / was a BSG mod for Freespace though I don't know if it is still in development. Its name was Beyond the Red Line and I remember them using at least BSG-like music for the mod. Since I know the BSG soundtrack quite good my guess is they used some kind of compilation. It sounded very much like taken from one of the CDs but it wasn't.
Maybe you can contact them and get at least some good advice what to do

ok thanks guys, I will look into the dominion's sounds also. It would be great if a song in the multimedia pack would be adequate

There is a piece I put together for Parallels that is up on MSFC. I have always felt that as long as you don't sell it or make any sort of money on a project it would be okay to use in a free project.

I'm glad to be of help. Next time I suggest looking at MSFC and A2Files as you never know what is already available.
