Bare Min to Get a New Race In-game

Hello,

I am trying to get a new faction/race in-game. I am just wanting to get to the avatar section. However first when I added the new race odf file to the races.odf it didn't show up (mind you I have the avatar and allocated outpost odf's set up) and then when I replaced the Borg odf file in the races.odf file with my new one the game crashed.

Now I have never had this difficulty with stock A2, so I know it has something to do with the new stuff the FO adds. I am only want to get to the avatar option screen. I am not worried about anything else as of yet.

Also what do these corresponding files do?

fed_outpostY_D
fed_outpostY_DD
fed_outpostY_DDW
fed_outpostY_DDWW
fed_outpostY_DW
fed_outpostY_DWW
fed_outpostY_W
fed_outpostY_WW
fed_outpostY_A

Those are the upgraded Outposts; D is defense upgrade, W is weapon Upgrade. The A one is the one buildable from Construction ships.

Just bear in mind there is no fed_outpostY_A, only a fed_outpostYA
