Using the INCREDIBLE modding guide your fine people have made, i added the Hydran Kingdom from SFC into Fleet Ops 3.13. It is awesome to be able to select it from the playable races, however, playing against them is a new challenge. I'm not quite sure how to go about the AI. How can I create an AI for a race i added myself?
Just copy and paste the fed race and rewrite the entries?

I think it would be a start but in order to make it challenging you will need to test and edit the build list based on how a real player would play.

I guess i should restate. Lets say my new race is called
Avatar_Hydran_Kingdom
I've got buildings and ships...if i create a ai file named Instant_Action_Hydran...i'm guessing the computer won't know to apply this file to my new race. How can i make my new race use this new AI file?

Hiya - seems I forgot to add that in there
What you will want to do is name your AI files the same as the name of the empire that you put in the faction.odf file. I.E. the romulan.odf has inside it an ODF code name = "romulanempire" . Thus, all its AI files are named 'romulanempire_instant_blahblah'.
