System Disabling via mapping...

Am I the only one that noticed this? When you try to diable a subsystem via map editor that it does not apply. And the permanent disable is completely ineffective. When I made this map of a ship that was to depict a heavily fired on vessel where its subsystems were crippled... the map editor just clears it out and makes it as if it only got hull damage and no system damage, or for that matter not even any of the system disablings were applied.
I propose that:
#1 Fix that system disabling thingy
#2 Put in a hit points thing for each system so that pre-damaged systems can be applied for map objects.
#3 For the sensor system put in a range modifier (so if a ship is supposed to have better sensors than the standard) and have this travel up the ranks if possible...
#4 Try to apply where if there were improvements on the vessel (such as sheild hitpoints and such) that the improvements travel up with the ranks... if possible.
#5 Put in a ranking indicator so as if you wanted a map ship to be a higher rank that you type the rank level you want and it automatically switches it in...

Yeah, I got that system disable bug too... and the Hull damage works in stock but not FO for some reason. Most settings in the Map Editor 'Ship Popup' seem to do nothing.
