map sizing

Hey folks, newb question of the year.... How do I change the size of the map in the editor???

I believe it is in the Ctrl-R or alt-R menu.  you will have to save the map then re enter the map editor to get it to change though.  Don't worry, the map editor is very confusing.

i think it does the saveing and reloading on its own now.. but im not sure

It's a tad confusing... There is a dialog box that pops up after youve made a change like that (and go to close the dialog box maybe), but you have to tab out of armada to see it. It will automatically reload the map for you by clicking ok on that dialog.

ow, then i have to look why you have to tab out in order to see the box
in general, i'd recommend to switch to windowed mode when doing map editing. that way you won't have any issues with the dialog boxes at all.
