Help? I guess.
Do you have a question on map editing, how use the map manager or want to make your new map public? Post here.

Everything is set up properly in my new map, but somewhere along the line a start position got hosed up and I can't find the wayward point to fix it. Then again, that may not even be the problem at all. I'd appreciate it if somebody (I'm not picky - really!) could take a look at it and see what they can do.

The issue at hand...
Interesting looking map
looks like start position 2 was messed up
. Load up the map settings menu (Ctrl-R) then go the the start positions page and select each position in turn from the drop down menu. You don't have to do owt with them; just select then move to the next.
Once you've done that; save the game and exit to Desktop. Restart the game and Position 2 should be fixed
Now... I'm assuming this is a 4 player map since I found only four points. If so then you'll need to set the remaining start positions to "Empty" (in the same menu as above - go to each unued slot and change them from "player" to "empty")
Something slightly different
Just one more thing, regarding map depth. I noticed that a few map objects are quite deep down into space. You will find that by loading them up in a live game, any objects beyond a certain depth (towards and away from the camera), will disappear totally
. Don't ask me why; it's just one of those things.
It depth is different for certain object so just use a bit of trial and error and you'll soon get a feel for how far you can use the depth settings.

Thanks, you set me on the right track. It turns out that Camera_4 was mislabeled.
