Hi everybody!
Now I did a map myself too!
It's a rather experimantal map, with focus of holding critical locations and exploring. You've got two areas, a dense nebula, where I myself loose track sometimes, containing most dilithium moons, and a free space, containing most tritanium moons, and some nice (stupid) inhabitants. The 7 starting positions, all within the nebula, are quite balanced to my own surprise. There are loads of places to hide from the enemy.
The most noteable thing about this map: I had to block the path through all damaging nebulas using blocking triggers, otherwise the AI doesn't realise it's a maze. The avoidance radius of a nebula is much too big for the pathfinding to recognize the alleys between them. I hope this behaviour will better with the next releases. Passing the field without getting harmed is not very likely, because I didn't manage to find all spaces, where a nebula passes a blocked area. On the other hand the nebulas damage rate is too low to cause serious trouble. The map was always stable when I played, but requires quite much resources.
I'd welcome any comments on that map, and will try to implement changes as soon as I did my exam in thermodynamics *gg*.
