That's right folks, after finally working out why my maps were crashing on me (haleluiah!) I release my first ever FO map:
Warcircut - 6 players (now V3 optimised)

A simplistic-style map with a unique theme. The players are arranged in a circut, and you need to move along the circut (and through your neighbour's bases) in order to reach enemies on the other side of the asteroids.
The map was designed for tournament gameplay. The bases are relatively close together. Each player has a derelict Premonition at their base to use and the green nebulas contain Breen structures (shipyards along the top and bottom, starbases on the sides) for take-and-hold.
With the full 6 players, its a chaotic survival of the fittest slugfest, perfect for tournaments or parties with freinds, but it can also be used with lower numbers very comfortably. Team games might also be an option here.
Enjoy...

Second FO map released to the masses:
The Expanse - 2 Players (Not compatible with V3PR)

The Eridaus Nebula, situated on the Klingon/Cardassian border, has always been known as a hazadous area. During the Dominion war however, it became a vital objective, a safe haven where entire fleets could wait in total secrecy before striking out at their enemies seemingly out of nowhere.
This is a map for true Veterans who want a long, hard game full of strategy. As you can see, each base only has Dilithium, with all the Tritanium in the centre of the nebula, meaning you'll need to send out freighters to mine the resource. However, your enemy will be doing the same thing, so be sure to guard your convoys with ships.
Your given a few Bajoran ships to get you started, but these won't be enough for total dominance. You need to be quick, smart, and good at strategy in order to beat the first challange; building up a force big enough to smash your foe's base...
...then there's the second; trying to mop up any remaining enemy ships hiding in that nebula:lol:...
Once again, Enjoy...

One problem: There IS no Klingon-Cardassian border, lol. Federation space seperates the two powers.

Long Way Round - 2 Players

This map was designed for the tournament map competition being done at ST-Galaxy by Eufnoc and amb. However, i don't think my map qualifies as it has four of each moon instead of three. Still, hopefully you'll all like it.
BTW: Either playing or singing the theme tune to the "Long Way Round" documentary starring Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman is highly recommended for this map.

Oh ****... sry mate. There's a big problem. I'm out of ST-Galaxy cos I have no time for it anymore ( studying ---> Exams in 4 weeks). Eufnoc also was not there to do it with me although I contacted him. He didn't respond. So I fear noone is going to finalize the conquest because there's simply a lack of admins on the international site. I'm very sorry about that but my real life comes first. Nevertheless, if you want to send the map to st-galaxy then send it to webmaster@planet-st-galaxy.de . Maybe Fidelio is going to load it up.
As I said: No honorary working ppl --> no ST-Galaxy--> no features

Supernova - 2 Players

Under the gaze of a blazing sun, two fleets clash....
A nice & simple 2v2 map designed with tournament play in mind. No special gimmicks here, just a handfull of phenomena to shape your strategies around.
(Removed due to Horrenus bugs. a Remade version will be supplied soon. Sorry)

Frozen Green - 4 Players

Return to an ancient field of war...and bring a coat...
This is a remake of the "Green" map from Armada I. 12800x12800. Its pretty much the exact layout . (except the resources obviously, two of each moon to each player). Enjoy!
Note: Due to the nature of the AI coding, in instant action your neighbouring AI may try to build its second mining operation at your base's moons, so expect regular target practice for your defenses
. AI will still fight properly though.

Oh man I LOVED that map back in the day...
I found it challenging yet enjoyable. I wonder how the FO AI works on it...

I think that the ice fields behave in the same way as asteroids...

They are a prominent feature in the V3PR. They behave just like asteroids, only they look cooler. Those, my friend, are what T-Man used in his map. What, you thought the blue stuff was nebulas?
