This is My version of the Mutara Combat Map from the old Fleet Ops i hope you all enjoy :). and please give me advice on how i can improve my map making skills.

Sorry about that this is the fixed map Im trying to figure out how to link the WormHoles. in this one i took the wormholes out.

it looks interesting, but massive nebula maps are out of style at the moment (they're basically impossible to balance with borg)

Also, they make pathing really annoying.  Make sure you test out your map, giving fleets orders to fly around different places and see how they stick together and if they go the "wrong" way.

So I wouldn't consider this a 'real' example of your map making skills, but I look forward to seeing what you can do :thumbsup:

several reasons to skip maps full of nebs and wormholes:

  • wormholes cause oos
  • nebs are unbalancing
  • people with slower computers (like me) cant play on maps with loads of nebs since nebs slow our comps down

Well ive got a new design im working on that wont have as many nebulas. i got a pretty fast system

Wormholes don't cause out of sync errors anymore.

i dont remember hearing that was fixed, its possible it was and i just didnt notice cos most people dont play on maps with wormholes

I believe it was fixed for human players, but still causes issues with AI. Not completely sure on that though.
