well i made my first armada 1 conversion. fedhell. i'll upload a picture and dl in a few days. srry . by the way i had to fill it with turrets. the ai kept sending out ships to attack us. pluss theres my favorite ship derilict! every1 gets 1
ok i ran into a prob- the feds in mid build. you can keep that version or i fixed it so you can re dl i wont re upload till monday so srry. but its an easy fix- just open map editor, ctrl+r, go to team 5 choose empty

Here is my Next map called Pen. you might remember it from A1 BEWARE!!!!!!! there a hidden enemy on map- strike fast!

Ok so im thinking of making a chess map. well basicaly you get asteroid field making squares 8x8 = 64 squares and 16 ships each. wormholes connect them. let me know what you think

King=SB?
Queen=prem/sovx1
Knight=excelsior/defiantx2
Bishop=Arikax2
Castle=galaxyx2
Pawns=saber/intrepidx8

I thought about it but the queen is supposed to be able to take anysquare so she ad to be all powerfull

thats a good idea! keep the fog n shroud off and it can be a proper game of chess with each ship moving 1 by 1 in turn. mind u, cloak a fleet of rommie sheeps and kill the queen!

Any peice can take any peice in chess, it's all about the positions adama, but yes, the queen would need to be a powerful ship like the premoniton or the sovvy to be able to take down anything however one pawn can't take out the queen like it could in regular chess hehe

you are correct but im not doing it like that. im doing it by movement. you might consider it a relative thing. the more spaces an the board it can move the more powerfull it should be. EXAMPLE:since the pawn can only move forward and attack diagonal it is going to be a very week ship-such as the saber
