Good stuff! Of course I shall endeavor to have files uploaded in a timely fashion so the time delay shouldn't be tooooo long

Well, who ever liked that little void map will like this one. Its a sequel, but not really a void. It isn't really a blackout. Just dead space.
FYI: Don't think the picture is telling it all, that is just what I let it tell you. Though I can guarentee that there is no swarm of ships waiting to blow you up. Nope... not a swarm.
Edit: Some issues fixed....

May I have some opinions on my map? If you have it but not used it than you can say so.

If the only way past the asteroid barrier in the center is the wormhole, my opinion is that you will very quickly see the damn thing "puppy-guarded" with turrets, starbases, and massive fleets.
That's just an inherent issue with bottlenecking. Wormholes fall under that category when they are the only feasible way to another area. Especially given the resources that exist in this map I would speculate that one of the first thing to happen will be turreting and fleet-guarding of the wormholes. Give it a short while longer and starbases will go up next to them.

Okay.... well, I guess the issue still exists here. Though fortunately not as much with the wormholes. Though I'm sure anyone would love this 8 player map.
Dimensions is 30000 * 50000; This is a map ideal for 3 vs 3, or 3 vs 3 vs 2. You have basically a starting set, an early expansion, and your later expansion is more towards where the action is. This gives 3 moon sets per person. Though the third expansion can be stolen by enemies if not aquired quickly.
There is some nebula in there to increase strategic potential, though very large fleets may be scratched by a few of these. This map I find great for a Medium-Long game length. Though if you really push it you can do it a bit faster. Also another feature I appreciate with the map is the fact that this can really fill the need for more 8-player maps.

Yeah I'm liking the frequent maps, too!
I do caution you, however to consider making the maps a little bit smaller. 30k by 50k is ENORMOUS. This is compounded even more when the moons pairs are close together because turrets and such can be put up before any raiders have even a remote chance to reaching the main base or even the expansions.
With 2 full moon pairs going person could easily have battleships ready by the time the first real raiders start showing up to attack. Flops is just not meant to really have that possibility if you ask me
. Too big and the gamestyle will just inherently shift towards a tech-race.
