Well I Downloaded it...

... And I have to say I am deeply impressed. This is a truly great game and my computer can just about handle the amazing graphics. My other favourite thing about the game apart from the visuals is the realistic crew casualties. I always hated it in Armada 2 when one torpedo hitting a Galaxy Class vessel would kill around 50 crew members.
Three things that I miss are:
-No warp, now reinforcements can't quickly come to the battle field to help my ships that are taking a beating.
-No 3 dimensional maps, I always loved the dynamics of the battlefield in Armada 2
-No ship movement, in Armada 2 you could order ships to move in a certain pattern, that was cool.
But despite these minor things Fleet Operations is an amazing mod and I'm definitely glad I downloaded it.

We are happy to hear that you enjoy playing Fleet Operations. We have some plans for better ship movement in the future to get a more showlike feeling, but that will take a while
