The Gorn does compliment the Klingons, however the Noxter adds a differencial taste.

I'm biased as a map-maker .

  We've been told that the Cardassians will be an NPC and map-oriented race.  Thus, I cannot WAIT for their inclusion so that I can go to town making sweet sweet maps that include them (in a fair, balanced, and non-game-throwing manner ).

i voted cardassian, by race i assume you mean in any appearance, not as a playable race, cos im pretty sure cardies wont be playable race. as npc they are the race i would most like to see appear as map objects next.

get some cool galor class screenies

it would open up dominion war stuff too, as most of the canon dominion stuff will be there if we get the galor and hideki. keldon would be a bonus.

I'm missing So'na in the list . We got Breen(playable AND non-playable) already btw. First Cardassians, then So'na. Then perhaps Gorn, but they seem to be quite out of galactic politics after the 23 century. Don't know where you got the thing with the Klingons from, though(okay, their territory is situated in the south of the Klingon empire according to the Star Trek Star Charts).

cardassians would be cool but i really cant wait for the noxter to be brought back

seperating the breen would require a lot more work as they would need completely new stations and non military vessels also the dominion would need a new avatar because it would be silly to make them a new playable race but also keep them as an avatar for an existing race. not much is known about the Sonar ships or stations so a lot of imagination would be required.

Im suprised the Xindi and 8472 were not put up as a choice

How else will the devs know what the community wants if we all keep it to our selves, we give the devs suggestions and they can either add it or not, No one is telling the devs they MUST add it.

You need to learn the difference between suggestions and demands. I want X in is a demand.

Firstly, this is the dev team's mod, not "the community's", and they have had plans for what they want to include, races and all, including new ones we've not seen before. The devs have put in so much stuff that other people have wanted, delaying the development of their own plans, for which we should be grateful, but should not EXPECT them to keep doing that. Putting the Dominion in was a huge undertaking, especially as they didn't want them in, so that should be considered a one-off, not to be expected again.

Secondly, the devs are NOT the only people in the world responsible for modding. If you want a race putting in, there is nothing stopping you doing it yourself. That's what I do.

My vote: Ciadan, but whatever they decide to make first, will surely be an awesome addition.

This also depends on the way someone reads it someone with brains will realise its just a suggestion , someone without and who is so stuck up his own ass will think its a demand.

I want is not a demand, i want is just someone id like to see this is an opinion or a suggestion if i had wrote "Put in the cardasians as a playable race" then yes that would appear to be a demand but i didnt see that anywhere, its you that needs to learn a few things little boy.

Theres still no harm in throwing suggestions around, the devs can either choose to think about them or not. No one is demanding anything from the devs they have already made a legendary mod.

I think it'd be cool to see at least a Gorn and/or Tholian ship running around causing trouble.  I don't think we know enough about them to make either a full on playable race by themselves.

Now that I think about it, an Orion pirate ship that played like a more aggressive Feregei Maurader would cool.  Perhaps have them randomly beam off crew from other nearby ships as well.

If we're talking full on race, it'd have to be the Cardassians though.  Or at very least, they would need a major Dominion conversion.  Though I'm pretty sure that won't happen in fleet ops...
