Well they had landed a cute cast, except for Furlong that is a derailed addict  the problem I have with this kind of projects is the low budget because in the end that affect the quality of the series and the trek community is not know for being very forgiving :sweatdrop:

The other thing is that if I remember correctly this project is been around for quite some time and still I haven't seen the first episode! Correct me if I'm wrong.

However, I wish them the best of luck!

About the budget i think that they have reached their goal of 250 grand. Either way it's on imdb.com as a tv series. It's going to be an awesome thing to watch.

It is nearly ten years after Voyager's return from the Delta Quadrant, and the Federation is in a crisis. The Federation's main suppliers of dilithium crystals are disappearing. Space and time have folded around several planets, effectively isolating them from any contact with outside worlds. And this phenomenon is not natural - someone or something is causing this to happen. This necessitates drastic measures; some of which are outside the Federation's normal jurisdiction. For this, Admiral Pavel Chekov, head of Starfleet Intelligence, turns to Commander Tuvok, Voyager's former security officer and current head of the newly reorganized Section 31. Tuvok must put together a new covert, renegade crew - mostly outcasts and rogues - even criminals. This new crew is tasked with finding out what is causing the folding of time and space, and stopping it - at all costs. But will they be able to put aside their differences and stop trying to kill one another in time to accomplish their mission?

So, Chekov is Admiral, and Head of Starfleet Intelligence, and nearly 150 years old... and that's probably the part that makes the most sense.

Or to quote an imdb user:
A bunch of washed up Star Trek actors past their prime mixed with a liberal amount of what looks like porn-stars. This will end well...

Was that the guy from Alien Nation. And Admiral Chekov? WTF! He would be over 200 years old or something to fit in that timeline

Well at least it was good for a laugh.

well it looks like it has better production values than "of gods and men"

but it makes no sense.. apart from chekov which is already mentioned.. why reform a secret section then hire a bunch of randoms that want to kill each other than use professionals?

and all of a sudden oops we ran out of dilithium crystals.. guess we wernt paying attention..

and in that trailer some of the acting didnt look to great so im not holding any hopes for it but it might be a bit entertaining.. maybe..

on the kickstarter page it says GARRET WANG dropped out of the project

on the indiegogo page there is a video where one of the actresses says "10 years after voyager returned to delta quadrant"
i see the cast know alot about what they are doing...

and tim russ is saying how he wants to change everything about star trek... that will go down well

ahaha exactly what i was thinking, ops we have just randomly run out of dilithium, time to do something about it...like sending a crew of complete randoms who wants to kill each other on a mission to save the federation. :sweatdrop:

Adrienne Wilkinson played Xena's daughter Eve/Livia during the final season of the show... should be interesting.. the filming and effects look decent.. just hope the acting is up to par.. They should take notes from the New Voyages group..if youve never seen TOS (hypothetically) You would think that its still on the air.

Chekov? Was he stuck in a transporter buffer to? Also, dat scream...

At any rate, I think web series are the way to go and wish them all the best. Even if their success is marginal and even if that particular group breaks down, it will pave the road for more. What bugs me most is that nobody seems to try starting small. It looks like these people are jumping right into a full series. Do some 15, 30, or 60 min skits first, get their feet wet.

Good luck, ST:R, and Godspeed.
