Question About 3.0 Release

that would be cool as well.. if it would show a lil part of the map.. like if u take a romulan spy of armada1 on a enemys ship... it displayed the sight of that ship... so it would be like some sort of distresscall or something..

Firstly if you destroy a ship, depending on the situation but usually your not gonna get much time to get in. Basically i'm thinking after half of the ship is missing like 10 people or so left alive jump into an escape pod before the rest of the ship explodes or loses power. So you only gonna find 1 or 2 escape pods.

Another idea, have it possible just to abandon ship (can be used when ships blow up also) and have escape pods fly for a short distance away from their ship then stop (loss of fuel or impulse power). If you can abandon ships, for the sake of gameplay you can give an enemy your ship if they are noobs and you want to help them but you dont lose any crew.

I'm a great fan of this mod and I look forward for the beta 3.
But I can't find a fixed date.

hehe, no problem, the whole Fleet Ops Staff (including me) is from Germany, too
Yep, there is no fixed date, cause we don't want to give one We will announce a release date a week or two before.
Version 3.0 is making good progress and i think we will get it running soon. We work as hard as we can
