Besides, technically the US is a republic, with elected official representing the people. In a true democracy, the people vote on all issues directly, without representation.

then where is the "true" democracy. the masses are represented by MPs in UK, i would imagine its the same in the US.

this is a stupid poll. whats the harm in the FO team carrying on with FO development whilst trying out new games? they have worked so hard to get to this point its hardly likely they'll just up sticks and fcuk us all off and leave us with the preview release! unless they have personal reasons for that etc so what? we aint paying them a salary for putting their talents and effort into this game. this kind of thing ie this thread and negative debating on whether they're stopping FO will only **** them off, well it would **** me off!
i voted either way - yes or no as there wasn't any other distinctive answers i preferred.

Well, the FO team so far says they're staying it out, and I for one think that's the right choise here.

Now for my very imortant spamming content:
I hope you all know, that if they move to the Legacy engine for example, that they have to made almost all models from scratch right? My ah expedition into modeling was a rather short one, but scaling already existing models to a bigger size, isn't that easy;
so if they going to move to legacy, i would expect the first version of Fleet Operations: Legacy in 2 Years; Remeber how many people are modeling for Flops right now? Two? hmm;so let finish them Flops 3.5 or so and them grant them some LOONG vacation they deserve it!

I looked at the legisy movie clips posted on legisyfiles new site. I notested that the star fleet bace thay used the same wepons at the wepons ans sound as in armada 2. I am eger to see what uther simalrity thare are to armada maby thay wher evin inflowinsted with fleet ops its two early to say thay dont have meny vido clips out.

well, i don't think it was influenced by FO, but game designers often model their games by previous versions of similar games, so it's possible that A2 played a role in it's development(god i hope not)
