there may be conflicts with other textures though as it uses the old textures from the akira, steamrunner and excelsior 2. these could be renamed with the help of a hex editor though incase they conflict

I kind of like the old descent model, especially the top down view.  Could it be included as a map object at some point?  Perhaps it was the precursor to the Descent we have now?

it would a new (more believable) kitbash before we will add it again maybe in the future. i'll put up on the list as idea.

Does anyone possibly have the files to add this ship to the game? I mean both versions of the Descent-class to regular Star Trek Armada II, not Fleet Ops.

If it isn't available for Armada II, please let me know what versions of Fleet Ops have the ships, possibly then I can do what I did when I added some Dominion ships and stations to me game, just use the SOD's and Textures and create a new ODF file using another ships ODF as a template.

Thank you for your possible help in locating these two ships.

What about as a direct predecessor to the new Descent that has a chance of being called in via the experimental warp-in. With a large fail-rate for shield reset? or higher supply cost?  :whistling:

I like the Galaxy saucer and the four nacelles.  Perhaps the engineering section could be bigger instead of two pieces?  I don't know, I just like it from the angle used in Navyguy's pic of it.  Call me crazy.

Could you by any chance please post a link to the respective downloads that have them, because I've tried looking for them and I can't officially find them, going by certain images in the Bitmaps/Shipimages makes them look different....
