Well idk if this is my final post......... but here it is

this isnt neccesarily a discussion item, however it had me thinking that those news posts were very popular, the once a week, 1or 2 screenshots with a small paragraph below them describing what was being done

well, they opend up alot of discussion and new ideas, from members, and i had thought that this being a open and accepting mod (only to some people) this is a good thing, as it promotes others to share there ideas, with other people in the fleet operations comunity, and personally i had liked knowing what was going on with fleet ops in between updates,

itd just be a nice finishing touch everybody else will like, in my opinion


well thats all i will have to say about that....

Hmmm, at the moment I've been kinda looking at the Patches as "updates" so to speak: they are spaced with about the same regularity as the old updates... though perhaps not as much content recently as the Team has had to fret over bugs 

I'm sure with the next patch, however, we will have plenty to talk about (have you seen how many tasks have been completed!? I think it's gonna be a big one  ), but it's the Team's decision-so whatever floats their boat

plus that was before v3 was released so the team had to do something in order to keep their following.

I also miss the news items, with the couple of screenshots or those cool 3d model previews they did...
Just little things for the huddled masses to "ooh" and "ahh" over, hehe.

aye thats true. we are just very busy at the moment with implementing a few new features, but i will try to get a newspost up as soon as a new model or feature is done. The Patch posts were a bit of replacement i will do what i can

yea, had the same thought in mind a while now. we have had a lot more news posts planned after the v3 release than just about the patches. the 3d previews we had in the past aren't working correctly with most of the the new models we currently have, so we'd like to try a new method there, but haven't looked into that yet.

thanks for doing what you can!, were not asking for much, just a screenshot or two with a few sentences, anything will be gladly accepted

If I have learned anything from the FO Dev Team, it is that "soon" is the most highly subjective term..*Clarksonion pause"...in the world. 

But I hope soon means fairly quickly.

yeah i remeber, when like in 2007, when i first looked at the site, 3.0 would be comming out "soon"

yea, we first are going to release a bunch of preview release screenshots and after a year or two we show you the actual screenshots
