New to Fleet Operations

Hello all,

I am new here. I stumbled on this site today, I have not played Armada 2 for a long time and was going to start playing it again. Now that I see that someone has upgraded the game its going to make it even better. So now to install Fleet Operations and brush up on my game play Hope to be doing some online play soon , looking forward to battling some of you

hello and welcome, make sure when installing it you select to "run as administrator"

So I got FO installed and it took a little getting used to. I started with fed with 1 normal comp , just getting my bearings with the builds. Then I moved to the borg ( my favorite from A2 ) with 2 normal comps, and I to restart after 5-10mins cause I was a little lost, but after I got the hang of it I liked it . Next was kling , would not be the race I would favor ( never was in A2 ) but I did it with 2 normal comps and did ok. On to dom, I decided to go 3 normal comps as I was getting the hang of the game , and on a small map. I like there ships and there build structure and another victory . Lastly the rom , feeling sure of my self that I was getting the hang of the game again , I went for 3 hard comps on a bigger map. All was going well was getting a nice fleet going and with my spies in the other bases I went for one of the comps ( rom ) when they were attacking another comp ( kling ) so I decloaked right in the heart of his base and took out his starbase and most of his reinforcements he called back in. Then I made my mistake , I went to repair my fleet thinking I had him crippled enough for the moment , well when I sent them to repair they went the other way around then I had come in and i ran smack into the last comp ( fed ) , in the end the rom comp kicked my @$$ and was the victor .
