New/old FO player and also about races
Which race do you like most? What do you like - what you don't like? Discuss it here.

Hi, been a long time player of FO back from very early days (and my, how it has changed). Downloaded the latest version a few weeks ago and just got into playing it. Amazing how things have changed since the PR3 version!!!
Anyway, first off, hats off the developers. Keep up the good work. You guys rock.
Next is a question about races, and which people prefer, and perhaps why.
I've played a good few games recently and some things have come to mind.
1) Borg - Not lost a game yet (on medium difficulty - hard... i'm scared to try). They seem very good, and once you get a cube or two out then its game over for the opponents. Had some scary moments, but always survived. Are the borg easier do you think? Playing against the borg is tricky to say the least... definitely my most hated opponents.
2) Dominion - very annoying. If you loose your prototypes then you have to recreate them to get the standard ships. Not bad to play in general but too annoying for me.
3) Feds - fantastic. Nice rounded race with lots of tactical options. The most pleasing moment - when i nabbed a (klingon?) construction ship and discovered the Miranda II. Definitely my favourite race. Can win 50/50 on medium playing as fed. Not bad i think.
4) Klingon - a bit disappointing for me. Not a complaint here exactly, i just couldnt get into them. Not really sure why. Perhaps i expected them to be more simply to play.
5) Romulans - second favorite so far. Really strange because in stock A2 i never really was a fan of the Roms. However, in addition to the cloaking, the Romulan sabotage teams, and some other nice upgrades, not to mention the stylish ships, they just seem to work very well. Also if mix tech with Feds then you get the scout ship with repair beam.... quite nice, a fast stealthy repair ship....
Thoughts, comments? Suggestions on how i can improve my relationship with the Doms and Klingys? How to deal with Borg enemies?

well, first of all: hi.
lol.
and about your points..
1)borg
i cant say that they are easier, since they relate on just a few stations and it takes a good ammount of time to get a foot in. so i would prolly lose against a good player who rushed my base.
as oponent i hate them too, specially the nanites, cause they shreddered every small ship. and the big ones get shot down with the high energy slicer and this devastating shieldbreaker torpedo thingy. yuk.
think the only way to stop them is early game, cause when they throw in the first assimilator you're about to lose.
2)dominion
i kind of hate the AI here, cause it just spams a full screen of v-13 and breen battleships, and the moment they roll out everyone else is done lol.
3)feds
i just love them. still trying to figure out the right buildorder and playstyle for risner, tho, but i love their overall design (akiras and defiants
).
4)klingon
i felt the same, to be honest, cause i expected a lot less shipclasses. but i love their possibility to spam a bunch of ships with just 2 yards (cause of their extensions of every smallship-shipyard).
5)romulans
they seem to have an answer for every oponent thrown at them.
lol.
