lol i sent 3 fleets of venture to a noxter ai hard base, they where killed very quick but took out the star base (just)

The Noxter 'starbase' is annoying I have to use artillery ships to take it out because if I send in other ships they get pummeled by the area-damage caused by it.

They cause game crashes so they wont be in v3 but will come back in v3.5 or v4, and this has been debated b4 :)

I think the Rommie scout is more powerful. I have kicked butt with just 5 or so destroying const. ships and other stuff.

yep, weapon platforms with the noxter base, a deadly combination, very hard to destroy anything

the biggest, and for me major problem of the balance is mrs breeder and mr klingon conship. they are too strong in my eyes. just build breeder on mass or klingon conships and u will win the match. wait for half a fleet breeder then move them to the enemy. too fast and too strong...humm...maybe not too strong but too fast.
klingon conships on mass...they are nearly as strong as neg´vars! hello? 3 fleets of conships and the ai press alt f4... :omg: i found the reason for the crashes!

artilary ships against breeders & any ships with pulse weapons against construction ships :P

Never gonna win that. Pulses suck against medium and large targets :P And the con ship will be tunned down big time for v3 anyway :P

the problem with the noxter is that on AI hard they build a defence of turrets near the mothership and it has usually 2 of them. The whole combi is deadly and my fleets would crumble wuickly with the combination of the turret and mothership. and if you manage to destroy a new one and try to build up a new fleet for a seocnd raid, they have everything built up again
