  A small complain, Mal: you move the camera too much and too fast and the game is hard to watch.

I'll work on this.  I'm still playing around with settings and 3D mode, which I think works best for small skirmishes, or for when one ship gets chased and is killed.  The rest of the time I might just keep it in top down mode.

I for one really liked the 3d mode, but it does distract a little, so I think you shouldn't do it quite so often but definitely  do it still

Oh my, why did you record THAT game. It was the third game i played after a pause of 4 months. Horrible microing and forgot rebuilding tri economy.

Mal, please don't give up on the close ups or cinematic mode aka 3D mode, I love those very much.

Boggz' vote =  Continue the 3D .  I likes it because I can always tell how a battle is gonna go almost before it begins.  I like to see the pretty view of it as it goes and also how the ships look in comparison to each other

I say do it at least once a map, more on maps with pretty lighting effects.

This was the first game I won.  Props to Boggz for holding his own against 1.5 players while drunk.

indeed, i thought boggz was clever for doing that. i think he tried using it in concert with boarding for capturing, without boarding it is completely useless for capturing. it is brilliant for holding though, just to stop the enemy running and repairing.

i was surprised boggz put out early autoassim assims. beat should have been more clever and beamed to his ships to stop boggz stealing them. if i was boggz i would have put out assims with all the weapons i could fit on it, as the assim is long range and counters the bomber's fast tracking computers which take 23% more damage from assim. i would have definitely put beams on all assims, to guarantee hits.

Actually Myles you're right, and that's just what I did .  After the first two auto assims
started to get hosed I put out a sphere for tanking and then made 2 Assims with Beam/Regen/Nanite to give them  the beam and the extra defense .

They really worked pretty well.
