Interesting...

Nice to see how that map works. I'm guessing it is made by Boggy?

Anyway, I like these replays, makes me think of how to predict players for the next time I do play.

im split on 3d view, it looks nice, but it makes it hard to gather a lot of info at once.

i would prefer 3d view to only be used once the outcome has been decided and the game is just finishing up.

I never get to use the 3D view in-game but it makes micro-management too difficult.  I like seeing the 3D in the replays because it gives a less RTS feel and a more Trek feel to it and we don't have to control anything!!

Ok, I recorded this one before fixing the cursor issue and the sound issue.  I got some great 3D shots, especially of the warp in.

  A small complain, Mal: you move the camera too much and too fast and the game is hard to watch.

This was really a nice game! It clearly shows strength and weakness of the factions as well as the importance of scouting. And the advantage of ranked ships!

scout wars was funny, 6 talons (refits?) chasing one talon lol.

hey mort, i saw on the minimap at the end there was some green stuff in top right of map, did u build intel centre there? or was it some ships sitting still while your 6 scouts chased funny's scout?

it was cloak generator with few turrets and singularity transmitter

just for fun

so funny refitted his and decloaked one of your cloaked scouts?

they get a small boost in offence. they are only used for ping though.

before he attacked my miners i didn't know what happen to my scout in his base... i presumed it was destroyed but wrong

my scouts were un-refited because (without knowledge about my lost scout) what use would i have for talon refits? 

yeah he decloaked one of my scouts... thats when i start chasing him with all my scouts
that veteran generix just happen to pass by

i thought u had refitted them at the end, when u were chasing his last scout, just for added offence boost.

hmm nope all my talons were unrefited...

and you can see in replay only one talon produced ping..

except for one or two moments were we can see "several pings" but that was caused my that 3D mode...
i do not know why but i noticed that before... it happens when you scroll close to that ping and it gets somewhat scattered across screen

yeah i've noticed the scattered pings thing when zoomed, it happens in 2d mode as well i think, if u zoom in, could be wrong.
