Just wanna pop in here and let people know that I've got 3 replays from the past few days. It' just taking me a while to cook them, they should be up before the weekend.

By the way that all-fed game was great! I'm pretty happy with this version of Plasma Conduit, it really felt like nobody was at a disadvantage. That said, the replay was an example of why Feds have to get Starfleet Command. Also, Risner monsoons are terrible, they should probably get a tiny defense boost and lower the Mayson bonus so his stay the same. Just saying.

I agree with Tryptic here. Even with 6 Feds in the game, no team could really turtle up, and there have been massive attacks on 4 out of 6 entries. In the end the team with the better teamplay won.

Arash, of course one team could have done the "15 ships into your face" rush, and of course there are games that are over in less than 10 minutes, but i doubt anyone takes a fed only game that serious, neither do i believe it's healthy for the game to take the game always competitive. Well, everyones may play how they want to, right?

Risner Monsoons aren't terrible, Mayson's defense bonus is just too much when the only ships on the board are from the Antares Yard or warpins. Her Intrepids (which there weren't many of from what I saw) almost make up for it with higher offense.
Honestly, for Risner to win that, the Feds need to tech up a lot faster and not spend so long in the small yard. That and letting the right side team be the ones on offense really screwed the left side team up.

wrong. Play in a way that maximizes fun for all players.

What about "play like the game was designated" (competitive, fun, whatever)?
