well in theory yes, but they suffer hard from Torps and from the nanites.

wow they really do shred through The neggies armor.

The Borg have Butterknifes installed on their torps?? 1 torp hit cuts health by 25%

and that link doesn't show that the neggies are better... the mixed fleet did more damage to the diamonds than the  negvars

neghvars don't counter diamonds unless they have their special researched. In the match in which Boggz won, the diamonds with their torps and nanites killed many neghvars with ease AND it still seemed like boggz could have lost. Something needs to be done.

No, but it does show that diamonds can be beaten.  The latest tourney game doesn't mean that diamonds are unbeatable, what it means is there needs to be more games, and more people trying out different strategies to beat a diamond.

Perhaps the diamond speed or range needs to be sligjtly reduced. They move fairly fast and can decimate anything.

Nanites just needs to have one or two of a few things happen to them:

1.  Smaller radius of effect.
2.  "casting range" reduced to something other than artillery.

  Boom .

FYP, eh, put something else in it.

And don't forget: Boggz hasn't played active before those final round matches, plus there was no map pool at all, just his own creation aka Duel II which kinda benefits the Borg atm (in my opinion).

This.  Actually I think both, make it long range and a slightly smaller radius.  After all, the only problem with the diamond is its uber-ultra-kiting-pwnage ability.

lol?
why did that match last more than 20 minutes?

I did 3 on 3 feds on all sides and the match only lasted 10 minutes (not even it was like 8 minutes or so)
