Hey everyone, I wanted to apologize for the lack of commentary's over the past five months, I have been very busy, and just have not had any time to do replays.  However I hope to find the time to consistently throw up some replays.  So finally, here is a great game between Crisis and Dragonfire in which they help me commentate on the replay. 

For those who are wondering the players can only here the questions I pose to them specifically, and in turn, they cant hear their opponents responses.  So they have no idea what their opponent is saying, or the questions I am posing to their opponent.  Also I must apologize, I forgot to put my graphics on high before the commentary, so It's not as pretty (try to run it on 720p on youtube), but it should be fairly clear.

Would have just spammed some regen scubes and an em adapter, and i would have gone straight at his combat ships not avoid them.

Wrong choice in scubes by cyrisis, adapted photon torp does severely reduced damage to battleships, would have torn those celaurs apart with regen scubes but intercept scubes get torn apart them selves.


Awww that was painful to watch so many intercept scubes vs battleships arrr i was yelling at the screen for him to build regen scubes.

Yeah, the intercept scubes made it impossible, but I wonder how it would have turned out even if he had regens.  When the Romulan player is good, it's nearly impossible to kill a cehlaer in the early game.  The only thing you can do is try to shut down his miners without taking too many losses.

No but he wouldn't have done so much damage to his scubes if they were regen so not killing a cehlaer early isnt important altho certainly not difficult, just spam those regen scubes and you will get kills with or without an em adapter, and even if they get damaged they can repair very fast anyway. The moment he said yeah i think hes going cehlaers he could have 5+ scubes per cehlaer and at that point you own the map, they are fast and the counter to those cehlaers. No need for probes they are a waste of resources against battleships.

Haha. On the note of me still trying to build my first assim. What happened was that I didn't have enough tritanium to build it. I thought that if I still build it and then cancel it, the whole chassis plus node would decommission. But it didn't. That was my first mistake. My second mistake was almost losing my second assimilator. I was suprised that I didn't lose it. When I had two assims up and one more on the way, the dominion couldn't counter anymore.

I got lucky there. Extremely lucky :p

Tryptic - just watched the most recent video and the audio was good. The backgroud effects where loud enough to hear and the quiet enough that the commentary was not overwellemed. Save those settings!

That one was crazy man, nonstop psichotic rampage with only 2 short pauses in between (not counting the one where the game was actually paused).

I never had this much fun before, and im not saying this to gloat, it was also extremely hard, it was a victory earned in sweat of blood!

I will echo this sentiment -- audio quality was good; I didn't have to strain to hear anything.

Well, I couldn't hear you that well on a couple of occasions.
But this has to do with you going into cinematic mode and zooming in.
The game effects are extremely loud then.

The rest was fine as it is. The audio quality was sound
