Dangit I have a lot of watching to catch up on!
1. I love the new player colors. They are truly more diverse and easier to see. Except for blue borg who can hide in blue nebulas
2. I know it's a bit far back, but I thoroughly enjoyed Boggz vs Arash in the tourney game where Boggz was feds. Yes things were rough and people lost their cool, and now it can't be used as an example for new players due to the smack talk, but both players put up a tremendous performance that showcased the latest balance changes wonderfully. Kudos to you both.
3. Seriously, something like the last 12 games in a row have been on Duel. My determination is building, when I get my laptop (probably on thursday) I'm going to go on a mapmaking spree the likes of which haven't been seen from me before! For the glory of the empire!!!

Heh, yeah I lost my cool because I felt like I was getting nailed by some control issues in my games vs. Arash. Then I got upset when I felt like he was beaming on my ships as they were de-cloaking. It's not against the rules, but I just wish that feature didn't exist.
Fleetops is finally starting to have a pretty competetive edge to it in this tourney, which makes the games much higher quality, but also gets our emotions into it

Please do! Duel II is being seen so much simply because it's the tourney map. Make more 1v1's!!!! It's really hard to balance a 1v1 well so I haven't tried making any more recently.

OMG i sucked so bad that game, i need to hunt Old timer down for a rematch, cuz ohhhhhhh that was terrible. i can't even belive i got it to last 35 minutes.

I also want to apologize if I sound overly harsh and critical in the Ray vs. Boggz game. I was a bit tired and when you're doing a live commentary you sometimes don't always check your comments perfectly. Both players did very well and it was indeed a good game. I haven't watched it yet, but this is just a preemptive apology.

22:30, Ray cloaks 2 brels. One of them takes fire while cloaking, and its ally immediately decloaks to "assist" it. When the damaged one finishes cloaking the Kvort switches fire to the decloaking one. The damaged brel then decloaks to "assist" its ally and promptly dies. The commentators mention that it was a bad idea to decloak, but Ray didn't order either of them to do it.
There seems to be a bug, probably caused by changes the devs made to make the AI use cloaking more effectively. However, until this is resolved, Romulans are impossible to play. Federation and borg also have problems with ships returning to "assist" allies despite orders to move off. Only the borg seem to be unaffected, which is part of why they are so popular. We appreciate all the bugfixes lately, but we need one more to fix this issue
