Hi yandonman
I like the replay. But I have one thing to say.
My name is Awkemacspjg not awkenmacspgj. XD

I did didn't do very well this game. :(
It's a good sign...my first time being recorded and I fail in the first few minutes. :D

I learned after the game that dodes work well against intreps but by then it was to late. :(

Thats one lesson learned.:)

a scoutcube weighs nothing in space, unless it approaches a source of gravity, where its weight will depend on the strength of the gravity.

Though if you've ever called a Klingon pretty, you've got some interesting taste...

Ok, my favorite line from that replay...

In empty space (i.e. a universe where the only mass is the scoutcube), it would indeed. Sources of gravity might be very very far away, but they have a small effect. Or by nothing you meant "undetectably little."
As for that map, the big red star probably has significant gravity. Plus there is a little gravity from the asteroids, nebulae, other ships, buildings, random particles, stars far off, etc. A lot of sources of gravity.

of course galaxies and stuff have gravity, but that is so small its irrelevant here.

the mathematical law relating gravity and distance involves exponentiation, long-boring-maths-story short, at the distances we see in fleetops, gravity from most objects is so incredibly tiny that ignoring it is best. no point considering really really really really really small numbers, they dont help you build a rocket lol.

it depends on how big fleetops is actually scaled for, since warpins take several seconds to travel accross a map at warp, we can assume that maps are quite large, large enough for the exponentiation of the distance to be the easily dominant mathematical force and gravity to be ignored. thus the hypothetical scoutcube has no weight :D

You two will turn any thread into a stupid disagreement about irrelevant things.  It's astounding.

Oh shush you, two off topic posts and you start mentioning aquatic birds. If the discussion continues any more i'll probably make a separate thread for it to keep this one cleaner

The Red Romulans as Old_time_Pro

Isn't that the wrong way around? Are the Romulans playing the Old_time_Pro Faction?
