How To Make A Great Game... Greater? (Grammar fail but good question!)
Once upon a time a young lad discovered a game, this game was(is) awesome. Many a hour was wasted(addicted) to grand battles of his most loved ships fighting for dear life and resources on 4:3 screens. If you have not already guessed this was Star Trek Armada 2. It has been almost a decade since I last played this game. Many times I have attempted to buy this title (Original lost in move) but to no avail. Until I came across this website. When I watched the Youtube Vids and read some of the articles I thought... ''F*&k it I'm ebay'ing this bad boy and joining Fleet Ops!!!' At some cost later my lovely classic should be with me in 5 days time.
I have to admit though I find myself slightly lost with the extensive forum etc. So if one of you fine young chaps/ladies could give me a sum up of what is round the next galactic corner that would be awesome.
P.s The artwork on the main page, Muchos Gracious to the artists. Its great to see the creative flare for the old title.

welcome to the forum.
the forum is a tad slow atm as a new patch is being worked on. that will vastly change the game. that is a while off yet, so currently there's no big thing about to happen. business as usual would be the way to describe things atm.
if you thought a2 was good, you're in for a surprise, fleetops is better.

Welcome aboard! You made the right decision. Keep the copy like a treasure!
Concerning the corner and what is behind. Big things! You'll be amazed how the new Fleet Operations game play is going to feel and look. No comparison to even the current version. I suggest to you to read through the last 15 news posts to get a better idea of what is about to come.
In the mean time.. enjoy the current version! There are quite some individuals hanging around on Tunngle waiting for new players.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys and gurls.
I am really looking forward to my game(s) arriving soon. I was lucky to find a extremely nice condition of the 4 pack armada/elite force cd-rom. I will be making many copies incase something ever happens to the rare disc.
If I am honest I wouldn't mind getting involved behind the scenes with you chaps if anything comes up. So if you ever need a helping hand give me a shout and I will see what I can offer. After all you did bring a classic back to life so I have to repay you back some how.

I had that four pack as well. Unfortunately the discs are a bit harder to remove than in most CD cases, and I accidentally broke my A2 CD in two several years ago.
So yeah, definitely make a copy of it.
