AMD Athalon 64
512 MB Ram
64 Dedicated Nvidia Graphics Card
Tried everything I can to freeze the Program the only thing that came close is when I played as the Feds and had 528 ships at one time on Nirvana II

I am so happy that my new computer will even run v3 when it comes out ^_^

Even on clean Fragless. Mass amount of ships causes laps, though I know why. But when ever I build the Decent Class. A Mass Amount of ships I don't need anymore because it fills the bill just fine. Thoughts?

My comp is:
AMD Athlon64 2Ghz

1 Gig of Ram

ALL-IN-WONDER 9600 SERIES-128MB

Windows XP Home

All The graphics settings are maxed out--Highest Resolution possible, details to 100%, all those buttons enabled.:D

I have no speed problems. I set 'Resources' to unlimited in a game with 8 AI players and I had 5 big construction yard things building Soveriegn Classes constantly. I fought with so many ships that I didn't have enough numbers to assign fleets to and their was no noticable frame-rate difference. Ok, I'm done bragging

Ok here it is!
CPU: Pentium 4 3.00GHz
RAM: 512MB
GRAPHICS CARD: NVIDIA GeForce 6600
OS: Windows Xp Home Edition

1024x768x32
Max detail HighRes Textures
Well when I'm near the starbase and the other bases it's a bit laggy don't know what it is I've experimented with lower setting but no difference so I keep it at high other than that it runs fine

CPU(s) 2*AMD Opteron 254 DC
RAM: 3,5GB DDR
Graphics Card:
Primary screen: SVW-II-XT (SGI CPD-G520K monitor)
Secondary/third screen: SVW-C-I
OS: Windows XP Professional

Highest possible Resolution, max detail Textures.
No problems even with 200-300 ships involved in one big battle (on 50k*50k maps)

:borg: Maybe i'll post a picture of me and my workstation some time, of course with Fleet-ops running on all 3 monitors (If it is possible to launch mutiple copies of the program)

:omg:

er question, why do you need so many moniters? you only have one pair of eyes...right?

By the looks of his computer he is a designer or somthing maybe animation? If you do that kind of work like me you need more then one screen so you can multitask.

i sometimes steal my sister's moniter (i posted my system specs somewhere in this thread) and use it as a second moniter for research papers (one moniter research, other paper) and sometimes watch tv on one when trying to memorize all of wikipedia (my life goal) so i can see how one can use two moniters; now i just need to figure out how to keep my sister from realizing she is missing a moniter... :hmmm:

EDIT:
and i would also like to say wow to that computer; it is even superior to mine (an amendmet to the specs i posted is that my system now has 2GB of RAM)

Greetings from Germany!

You Remind me of my friend except he is crazier and all for the custom built thing

CPU: Pentium 4 @ 2.0Ghz
RAM: 512MB DDR
GFX Card: ATI Radeon 9100 (64MB), latest drivers
OS: Win98SE, latest updates
Directx: 9.0c

resolution in game: 800x600x32bpp
sound and graphics settings toned down pretty much all the way
performance: pretty lousy, instant action reaction time of ships is about 150ms, multiplayer reaction time is about 250ms, lags significantly when 16+ ships are on screen in comparison to stock armada2 and other full conv mods, asteroid fields are major laggers, nebulas not so much

CPU: Duel Pentium 4 @ 2.5Ghz
RAM: 512MB DDR
GFX Card: ATI Radeon 9250 (256MB ddr), latest drivers
OS: XP home (SP 3 i think)
soundcard: VIA internal Half dueplex chipset thingy
Directx: 9.0a
modem: DSL

resolution in game 1024x768 (32bit)
runs sweet, even in large battle royal situations. no bugs, nor slugishness. and no problems thus far. i have problems playing anygame online, so i hardly do, other then W.O.W., thus i can't really judge multi-player. sound is good, graphic's are kicka$$, and haven't encountered any major problems other then wierd ai.

that about sums it up
