Iam just doing some tweaking until V3 comes out, but I caint find were you change how fast the ships can go?

that is in the Physics files which are in the "odfs/other" folder, different classes will have a different file assigned to it but an example is "smooth_physics_150".

I have not really changed any thing major things I have done include
- new weapon graphics
- scale changes
- minor weapon twaeks
- some changes to ships

I tried some of that, but it ended up with the BortaS getting erased from the game, and me having to reinstall it.

I have another question were do you change the amount of damage weapons give.

go into the specific weapons odf file, and look on it for the ordinance to use, in that file is how much damage it does. Note also take into account the weapons firing speed.

yeah just do all the work on the ODf files and make sure to keep backups lots of them

Ships = build time , strength and hullpoints plus ammount of weaps
weapons = edit pulse torp and phaser dammage
other - physics speed up the class of vessel

if you just want to edit the speeds of one ship then creat a new physics file and asosate the ship that you want to edit with it.

Ok perfect I have every thing working except for pulse weapons I caint find the dmage tag in any of them so I added it to the definat is this wright.
