Ctrl+Alt+P for screenshots without the Interface.
Alt+P for screenshots with the Interface.

those are the easiest ways for sure. just to expand on it, the file format is png and when you exit fleetops it will give you the option to go to the folder where they are stored which i believe is in a fleetops subfolder of the default "my pictures" location. these screenshots are of good quality. fraps makes screenies too, and with that you can choose the file format, save location and set a simpler hotkey to take screenies, the downside is that it will take the interface unless you turn off the interface. the quality (for my machine) appears to be almost identical to the fleetops built in screenies method.

fleet operations saves screenshots in lossless png format, so quality can't get better than that :)

Doesn't the print screen button work too? I could have sworn I have taken pictures that way before.

yup, thats the windows default screenshot maker. it only holds 1 screenie at a time though, it puts whatever the entire screen has on the clipboard. so you can paste into microsoft paint (or similar) and save. its not as useful as fraps and its nowhere near as useful as the default fleetops screenie maker.

PNG is a lossless format, you can't get more quality from a pixel-based source like a screenshot

you have more quality then saving the actual pixel data ^-^

thats odd, it works perfectly for me every time.

its not helpful anyway since it only stores 1 image on the clipboard and you cant save that image from within fleetops. the fleetops built in maker is probably the best way to go for most people.
