Fleet Ops is superb

Hi guys

Been out of the Star Trek community and modding community almost a year now and have been out of the Armada community a long time but just played the latest version of Fleet Ops today. This mod is something special, I really do think its the pinnacle of Star Trek modding to date. I hope to hang around here for a while and give some feedback and such, but keep up the good work!

I might as well hijack this thread to post my thoughts on this mod. I've recently reinstalled Armada 1 and 2 and it's funny. In spite of all the extra stuff Armada 2 has that makes it seem like it should be a better game than 1, the first game is simply a better experience than the sequel. I hate how in Armada 2, everything dies in like 2 seconds of being shot at. XD

Some googling lead me here and I figured I'd give this mod a shot. And after being thoroughly lost in the Borg's new tech tree, I eventually got my bearings and finished an Instant Action skirmish and was blown away by the whole experience. This is seriously what Armada 2 should have been the whole time.
