Federation Interface

There is something I have been meaning to ask about the Interface FO uses for the Federation, namely; Wouldn't it be more fitting with something LCARS based?

the current federation interface is roughly lcars based, isn't it?
maybe it was just me, but real lcars interfaces just looked out of place or confusing in armada, so i took another approach back then - the one you have now. don't forget what you are looking at is at minimum now 5 years old.. a new gui for all races is planned, but it is not sure yet when it is ready to be released

I really like the suttle blue color rather then the obnocious orang and yellow.  You guys did a great job.

Yeah, why wouldn't the Feds change the interface in 20+ years ? They're at war, and fighting is what's needed, not distracting colors. The GUI for Feds shouldn't be too changed, IMO.

I like it now simple and minimalistic, its easy to use and you dont lose the game in the interface. I am sure if they redo the GUI that it will be even better.

Orange & yellow? LCARS isn't orange & yellow, it's mostly different blue's.

And that came from where, exactly?

Somehow, it doesn't look like it comes from the show. The colors also look more TNG-Era. TNG, DS9, VOY & Nemesis all have different color schemes.

So the colors would have more in common with TNG than the modern (and easier on the eyes) LCARS, due to the lack of upgrades after getting stuck away from home.

and in TNG they changed to red at red alert.  Talk about hard on the eyes.

I think that is what i mean, that and the conslols on the corners of the walls, but I think that is what they were for.  Mood lighting
