Does the shape of the Dominion Sensor Station look vaguely Cardassian to anyone else?

I don't think it looks a cardassi turret

It has the same inner ring, outer section and triple spikes on the inner section that Cardassians are fond of. It looks like a half-built DS9. All you need to do is join the two outer halves into a single ring, and you have a tiny DS9 without docking pylons.
