yea but it would make more sense if it´d only look like plasma from the nacelles or like that u know not like 2 or 3 different.. that looks like teletubbydamage

Yes, it doesn't look right. I never saw that "LSD" effect on the show. They rather used slightly glowing smoke in white/grey or colored according to the nacelle color.

So, if possible, each race should have a slightly colored own smoke. Let's say all like a light grey, toned in blue for federation, green for Romulans and Borg, red for the Klingons and so on.

Just an idea...

I also would like to see a change to the colored smoke. I like some of it but I think they do need to be changed. I also want to see a change to the damage textures. Like when one of my ventures gets damaged or goes through a nebula it gets a large orange scare on it's whole hull. I think that the damage images should change in size depending on the size of the ship and also improve in graphics.

I've never seen black smoke on this mod. Makes sense though if theres oxygen and a fuel then there will be a fire with black smoke. It could show up against stars or nebulas.

yeah, but u want to see which ships are without engines/life support easily, u don't want to have to look hard.

umm.. tmp, there is black smoke... zoom in, when u see a damaged ship, without crew on board... like i did.. on the left was green, on the right, purple.. and in the middle black smoke..

thats why i made this thread... it looks a bit... weird for my opinion...

Black smoke would be normal to me, not quite sure in space if fire makes smoke but I bet plasma can come in many colors. Don't see what the problem is apparently I cant notice it when im actually looking.
