Beta 2 Size

just a quick question.....i remember someone saying that they were trying out a new compression method (or whatever) so is version 2 smaller, the same, or larger than beta 1.0?????

it will be smaller than beta 1.x. i can give you more details in a few days.

err will you need beta 1 installed on the system as well or will beta 2 go ni on it own?

there will be a full version wich is actually smaller than the 1.1 full
and there will be a upgrade package for fleet operations 1.1 to 2.0 (wich may come after the release of the full version)

o cool i know we don't even have beta 2 yet but i have something to ask do u think beta 3 will be out for x mas make a nice present

can't say, we haven't the time table ready for the beta 3 features

it would make a nice present the downloading is the unwrapping the installing is reading the label to find out who it's from and what it is and playing it is well playing it.

btw, the beta2 size is 94mb (hey, 4mb smaller than beta1, but with 2 more races and stuff )
